Sainik School, RMS & RIMC Coaching in Malerkotla
Here is something most people do not know about Malerkotla.
This is the only Muslim-majority city in Punjab.
And during Partition in 1947 - when Punjab was burning - Malerkotla did not burn.
Not one person was killed in Malerkotla during the violence that consumed every city around it. Lahore was burning. Amritsar was burning. Ludhiana had massacres. Villages on every side saw killing.
Malerkotla was untouched.
Why?
Because 240 years earlier - in 1705 - the Nawab of Malerkotla stood up.
Nawab Sher Muhammad Khan. When Guru Gobind Singh's two youngest sons - Sahibzadas Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, aged 9 and 7 - were about to be executed on the orders of the Mughal governor Wazir Khan at Sirhind, Nawab Sher Muhammad Khan stood up in the Mughal court and protested.
He said this execution was wrong. Against Islam. Against humanity.
He was overruled. The boys were executed.
But Guru Gobind Singh heard of his protest. And sent a message - Malerkotla will be blessed because of this nawab's humanity.
That blessing held for 240 years. Through Partition. Through every communal crisis Punjab faced.
The only city in Punjab that stayed peaceful during 1947.
Because one man spoke up for what was right in 1705.
That is Malerkotla.
And recently - in 2021 - Malerkotla became a separate district. Carved out of Sangrur. New district. Old legacy.
That is why we run Sainik School Coaching in Malerkotla. Also RMS Coaching in Malerkotla and RIMC Coaching in Malerkotla. The city that peace chose because of one act of humanity - its children should serve in uniform to protect that peace for everyone. We train them for officer commission.
Malerkotla today. Muslim-majority district headquarters. Agriculture. Some small industry. Government services growing since 2021 district status.
The community here is unique in Punjab. Muslim families. But with deep respect for Sikh and Hindu neighbours. The Nawab's legacy lives. Interfaith respect is genuine and practiced.
For military school preparation - this community has specific considerations.
Muslim families from Punjab applying for Sainik School - this is less common than Sikh and Hindu applicants. But the exam does not ask religion. The Sainik School does not ask religion. The Indian Army does not discriminate by religion.
The Sainik School is for every Indian child who qualifies.
And a Malerkotla child who gets into Sainik School Kapurthala - that is not just a personal achievement. That is a statement about what India's military schools represent.
Sainik School Coaching in Malerkotla brings that opportunity to families who may never have considered it.

Interview marks added on top. Essays judged on quality.
Nawab Sher Muhammad Khan spoke up when speaking up was dangerous. He was in the Mughal court. Outnumbered. Overruled. He spoke anyway. The RIMC interview rewards exactly that quality. Not the child who says what they think the panel wants to hear. The child who speaks their genuine mind. Who has thought about things. Who has convictions. Who can defend those convictions respectfully. Malerkotla's legacy is speaking up with conscience. That quality in an interview is gold.
Strict. No exceptions.

1705 - the Nawab spoke up at exactly the right moment. Too early and the decision had not been made. Too late and the boys would already be dead. He spoke at the exact moment when it could still matter. These exam windows are the same. The right moment to prepare - Class 4. The right moment to attempt - January, Class 6 age. Speak up - prepare - at the right moment.
Trader from Malerkotla. Cotton and cloth trade. Has been in business for two generations.
Son in Class 4. Father said - mere beta ki talim achhi hai. Par main chahta hoon woh kuch bade mein jaye. Kuch bada bane.
My son's education is good. But I want him to go somewhere bigger. Become something bigger.
Something bigger. That is what every Malerkotla family deserves to aspire to.
Sainik School Kapurthala - 110 km. Punjab domicile. 67% seats. His son competing on the same terms as every Punjab child.
Father asked - kya Muslim bachha bhi le sakte hain yahan?
Can a Muslim child also get into this school?
I told him clearly. Sainik School is for every Indian child. There is no religious filter anywhere in the selection process. Academic merit and physical fitness. Nothing else.
The exam does not know religion. The question paper does not ask.
Father was quiet for a moment. Then - yeh toh bahut achhi baat hai.
Yes. It is a very good thing. India's Sainik Schools belong to every Indian.
Best Sainik Coaching in Malerkotla works for exactly this trader's son - who deserves the same opportunity as every Punjab child.
Honest picture.
Values Foundation - Strong. A community that maintained peace when everything around was burning has specific values. Respect for others. Keeping commitments. Speaking truth. These are character qualities that military school selection panels specifically look for.
Math - Good. Malerkotla has trade tradition. Cotton cloth market. Commercial calculation culture. Number sense is present. Exam patterns need structured work.
Urdu/Hindi - Strong. Natural expression. Language section manageable with some focus on exam format.
Reasoning - Decent. Commercial families think practically. Pattern work responds after training.
GK - Average. Needs daily current affairs work. Some historical awareness from the district's unique legacy.
English - The challenge. Malerkotla is not English-medium culture. Grammar needs structured work. Comprehension needs months. RIMC essays need time. Start English first.
Physical Fitness - Average. District town. Not farming community at the core. Deliberate physical training from Class 4. Build running stamina.
Values foundation and commercial math are genuine advantages. English and physical fitness need deliberate building.
Sher Muhammad Khan was alone in that court.
He had no allies. No supporting voices. He spoke against the most powerful man in the region at that moment.
He was overruled.
But his words were heard. And remembered. For 240 years.
You do not need to win every battle to matter. You need to speak when speaking matters.
Your child entering the AISSEE from Malerkotla - they do not need to top the exam. They need to do their honest best. Prepared. Present. Speaking through their marks what their potential can say.
The Nawab's voice was heard 240 years later.
Your child's marks speak on exam day.
Make sure the preparation gives them something genuine to say.
Direct.
For Class 6 entry - start in Class 4. Two full years.
For Class 9 entry - start in Class 7. One year solid.
For RIMC - start in Class 6. English and depth need the most time.
Sainik School Kapurthala at 110 km. Punjab domicile. 67% seats. Same quota. Same exam. Same opportunity.
Malerkotla. The city that stayed peaceful when Punjab was burning. The city of Nawab Sher Muhammad Khan who spoke for two children not his own.
New district. Old legacy. Deep values.
The exam does not ask about 1705 or Partition or the Nawab's courage in the Mughal court.
It asks math. English. Reasoning. GK. Speed. Accuracy.
Can your child answer correctly? With the right preparation. Yes.
Malerkotla chose peace. Now choose the preparation that leads to the uniform that protects that peace.
Start early. Work steady.
