The yoga thing. I always thought yoga came from Rishikesh or some Himalayan cave. Nope. Hatha Yoga started here. Guru Gorakhnath and his teacher Matsyendranath. 11th century. They wrote the books. Created the techniques. Breath control. Body control. Mind control.
The city is literally named after this yogi. Gorakh-pur. Gorakhnath's city.

Kings of Nepal used to visit. Before starting wars. Before big decisions. The word Gorkha? Comes from Gorakhnath. Same root.

Machine gun burst hits him. He keeps fighting. Kills four enemies. Hand to hand. Secures three bunkers. Then collapses.
24 years old.
His diary had this line: "Some goals are so worthy, it is glorious even to fail."
And this: "If death strikes before I prove my blood, I swear I will kill death."
He got the Param Vir Chakra. Posthumously. He kept his word.
