Kalaripayattu training begins with years of body conditioning before any weapon is touched. The student learns to control their own body completely - flexibility, balance, breath, strength - before learning to fight. The foundation comes first. Always. The AISSEE preparation follows the same Kalari principle. Foundation first - basic Math operations, basic grammar rules, fundamental concepts. Only after the foundation is solid does advanced practice - weapon work, in Kalari terms - begin. Skip the foundation, and even years of advanced practice produces a flawed fighter. Build the foundation. Then advance.

Age Rules

Strict. No exceptions.

Traditional Kalaripayattu training begins at a very young age - historically as young as 7, because the body's flexibility and the mind's discipline are most receptive then. Starting too late means never achieving full mastery of certain techniques. These exam windows work similarly. The earlier the preparation begins within the eligible window, the more complete the mastery. Age 10-12 for Class 6 - start preparation as early in that runway as possible.
