Sainik School, RMS & RIMC Coaching in Rajouri
Here is something most people do not know about Rajouri.
This district sits on one of the most strategically significant mountain corridors in India - and it was the site of some of the earliest military operations of independent India.
When Pakistani tribal militia invaded J&K in October 1947, the Rajouri area was one of the sectors that saw fighting. The early operations of the Indian Army in this corridor - through the Pir Panjal range between the Jammu plains and the Pir Panjal mountains - were conducted in rugged terrain, at high altitude, with supply lines stretched thin. The soldiers who held these positions in 1947-48 established a military tradition that Rajouri's families have carried forward through subsequent generations of service.
And Rajouri has one of the most distinctive pastoral communities in the Himalayas - the Gujjar people. The Gujjars are nomadic pastoralists who practice transhumance - seasonal vertical migration. In summer, they take their herds of cattle and buffaloes up to the high mountain pastures, sometimes reaching 3,000 metres or more. In winter, they bring the herds back down to the lower valleys. Their knowledge of the Pir Panjal's passes, trails, and terrain is extraordinary - built from centuries of this seasonal movement.
And Gujjari - the language of the Gujjar community - is one of J&K's recognised regional languages, with its own oral literary tradition of folk songs and poetry.
And the Tawi river - which flows through Jammu city further downstream - originates in the Rajouri hills, fed by the mountain streams of the Pir Panjal.

The Gujjars move with the seasons. Up in summer. Down in winter. They don't fight the mountain or the calendar. They adapt completely - moving their entire lives, their herds, their households, up and down the Pir Panjal as the year demands. Your child's preparation must have the same seasonal adaptability. Class 4 is the low-valley base - foundation work, no pressure, steady building. As preparation advances, the climb begins - harder problems, timed sessions, mock tests under pressure. By January - at the high summer pasture, fully adapted, ready for the most demanding conditions. Don't resist the climb. Move with it.
Strict. No exceptions.
